BIRTH/FAMILY
He was born on the 8th day of July, 1984 into the family of Mr. Sunday Johnson Ekpenyong. He is the fourth child of the family of seven.
NATIONALITY
Blessing Johnson(BSJay) has his origin traced to the royal family known as (Nnung Udo) in Itak Ikot Akap under Ikono Clan, Ikono LGA of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
EDUCATION
He had his Primary and High School education in his LGA and went further to the University of Calabar, Calabar. Where he studied (Pure) Physics.
CAREER
He grew up with a strong passion for entertainment and even started entertaining people who loved to hear him sing, till 2013 where he performed on the biggest stage in Nigeria, Calabar Christmas Festival. He has been highly influenced by music legends such as Case, Blue, Tyrese, Lionel Richie, Donell Jones, Lucky Dube, R Kelly, Usher Raymond, Akon, 2face Idibia and Paul Play.
While in the University, he ventured into movies where he acquired the knowledge of script writing, acting, a bit of directing, and finally settled in music as his career in 2013, keeping it real with good and meaningful songs.
